I guess this is more about confirmation bias since I've made a new model I wanna use. But I'll ask anyway.. How do you feel about our legions Hydra blade in today's meta?

Is it still strictly outshined by the rapacious talons now that cmd reroll can't reroll daemon weapons?

Are you using it or is there another option you prefer?

And lastly does the loyalist analogue teeth of Terra piss you off too?!

I like other options too much to ever field it, to be honest, particularly the Viper's Bite. Shadeblade used to be go-to relic but with the to hit cap it loses some of its luster.

Agreed vipers bite is my go to, since PA anyway.. That's when I also left our relic sword behind for rapacious talons. Now im not running a DP or disco I'm looking at a second lord again.

It's been quite awhile since I used it but blade of the hydra looks decent as a middle ground between rapacious talons and a fist.

They need to better balance the relics. It's 100% worse than the loyalist counterpart, and the teeth is not legion locked either.

 

I wonder since alot of melee weapons are getting some buffs as either +1S or -1AP if any of that is rolling into relics. Time will tell!

I think blade of the hydra will match teeth of terra again with the next book. Its the same sword and the earlier version of teeth was identical to hydras blade. Just that loyalists received an updated book.
