Snazzy Posted September 10, 2020 Share Posted September 10, 2020 I thought little of Curze for awhile, as well. Since the reveal of Erda, my previous pity for him went into overdrive. Poor guy never had a chance. You'd have thought the Emperor would have had a special affection for his psychic sons, but it also seemed like he was especially distant towards Curze and Magnus. We know some of the usual suspects won't get away from their bias. What surprises me is that people don't find the broken Primarchs more interesting. They are actual characters. They are flawed Demi-Gods. I'll take Angron and Curze as entities in the setting, as figures that define what 40K means, over say Rob, or Dorn, or Vulkan, every day if the week. There were 3 Primarchs that the Traitors knew absolutely had to either be turned or kept occupied away from Terra. Magnus, Guilliman and The Lion. It's Horus and Sanguinius at the top. I mean we can all cheer for our Dads being the best, but it's not reality. Scribe I used to be on the fence regarding Angron but looking back he is one of the most degenerate of the lot. And of course two wrongs don’t make a right.
