Greetings, brothers and sisters!

The new Warhammer 40K edition is hitting hard these days and it’s making that most of our customers are getting new units for their existing collections. Others are directly acquiring new armies such as the Harlequin battleforce we want to share with you today.

Once our customer decided the models to be painted, he created his own Masque by mixing the colors of the Midnight Sorrow and Soaring Spite masques. His aim was to be able to play with any of the two factions depending on the battle. So we did by applying many diamond patterns in blue and pink but also using yellow and black to blend both schemes. Our level 3/5 “Captain”  has been perfect to get the look that our customer wanted. We have especially highlighted the vehicles and characters with some more elaborated patterns using sometimes airbrush stencils.

Our customer decided to use a simple theme for the army bases, nothing too fancy to let the models stand out by themselves. For that purpose a simple grey earth with small rocks, a few brown tufts and some dust effect have been perfect.

What do you think, brothers and sisters? Do you like the scheme chosen by our customer? Would you use a different combination on your Harlequin army? All your comments are always welcome.

That’s a very good looking force. I had a similar idea to your customer in seeking to blend Masque of the Reaper’s Mirth with Masque of the Soaring Spite. However, without an airbrush I couldn’t hope to produce such impressive results on the models themselves. Well done.

Thank you brothers, we really appreciate your kind words!
