Hi guys!

I went on an AT spree back in May but didn't even open the boxes until last Saturday...

So I could spend a few hours on the weekend, and one hours today...this is my progress so far:

Looks swell! Legio Krytos has a great colour scheme, so I will look forward to seeing them painted.

Thoses bases are very lovely; where are they from?

Faithfully,

Master Ciaphas

Thank you, hopefully I'll be able to finish building these guys without any epic fails!

The bases are from Unreal Wargaming, highly recommended!

That’s some impressive work you’ve been doing! My first Warlord was a bit intimidating and you’re doing three at once?!

One point I’d make is the centre Warlord looks like he’s toppling over backwards? Are you thinking of having that one modelled as though it’s just taken a heavy hit? Or maybe a Matrix-style bullet time dodge? If that’s not your intention, you may want to amend the pose before you do too much more to it. Warlords can look a bit funky if you try to push the pose too extreme in my experience.

This is a good start. Welcome to the board.

A couple of bits of advice. I suggest you get one of the big bits of armour for the front of the shins and dry fit it onto all of your skeletons. This will tell you if it's going to fit. One or two of your ankle joints are tilted quite far forward and you might end up with a clash. The sooner you find out, the sooner you can fix it - if needed.

When building Warlords I add on the bits that hold the guns at this stage. So the round pieces that hold the arms and the frames for the shoulder armour and weapons. And of course the 5x1 N52 magnets to hold those weapons in place.

I hope this is helpful. Good luck.

Welcome, Princeps!

That's quite the starter project with three Warlords at once, but then again, I'm so glacially slow in my hobby-ing that I'm not one to speak!

Is your painting set up all ready for the post-construction efforts?

Thank you, schoon! I'm getting closer now, got a lot of different weapons to magnetise (both resin and plastic), and then I'll prime it all.

Can't wait to start painting, and yes, my setup is ready! I am going to record a video tutorial on how to weather the metals...but first let's see when I finish the weapons!

Looking forward to seeing these titans in your style.

Getting weathering working at the smaller scale is something I have always had issues with.

Thank you, sir!

It's the first time I try also, so wish me luck! Will be a while before I tackle the armor panels, though.

Cool. I suggest you make a fist to go on the other arm to the macro gatling. You’ll sometimes want those together.

Made one Claw already, another one in the making. Also Two Plasmas, and then the more vanilla stuff: Volcanos and so on. I want my Warlords to be versatile, as I will not be fielding smaller Titans or Knights.

Hi guys, so last weekend I finished building, magnetising, priming and basecoating all the weapons and all three Warlords. The next stage was to start weathering the bare metals on one of them. The reason for this was that I wanted to publish a tutorial on this on my YT channel. Here is the result:
