Really not wowed by the collectors edition Codecii - I have the Custodes one from 8th, and it's a glorious bespoke codex, whereas these are just bigger art with less branding.
Seems like a missed opportunity to do a "Codex Astartes" cover or something more inspired. For the Necrons, something like the glyph work from FW's old Fall of Orpheus would have gone a long way. These books aren't valid for terribly long, so if the art game isn't up to snuff, it's a tough sell for x2 the price.

I think the Forge World dice are better. Even with the loss of one from the scatter die included if you don't play HH, they look much more useful.
I agree. I don’t like the squarer style of these and glad I grabbed some Ultramarines legion dice.

I want the Necrons dice. It's a collectors thing. Probably will use them, even if it's a struggle.
I'd buy 3 Lokhust Heavy Destroyers soon as released if it weren't for the need to get the books and dice. Soooo expensive.
Well maybe I still will treat myself to 3

I do find it hilarious that some people were saying the size of newer marine stuff looks great next to regular humans like Cadians, and then GW upsized the humans so they are the same height as marines again

as someone who bought their chapter dice when they came out last edition, the marine dice are very nice and seem to be pretty well balanced.
I'll probably buy the codex and each of the miniatures honestly. Undecided on the "fancy" codex, I always buy the fancy blood angels ones, but not sure I will buy the fancy version of this one.
Primaris Blood Angels: Wins 4 Draws 0 Losses 2
Blood Angels 3rd Company Wins 25 Draws 5 Losses 13
Heresy Blood Angels: Wins 4 Draws 0 Losses 2Blood Angels 4th company: Wins 10 Draws 3 Losses 4

I'll be picking up the Codex and cards for sure, I must admit I was expecting later in October so this is great news.
I'm still confused as to how supplements work now (eg Ultras etc) and whether these new cards replace Chapter specific ones as well?

Square dice roll each face more evenly, especially if the faces are carved
Yep, fair enough and makes sense. Still don’t like them though

I do like the SM cover art, tempeted to buy physical version.
Hope we get some sneak peaks until release. wonder if we will have some suprises. Im finding it odd that Veteran intercessors have a entry, but no models shown...

I think Veteran Intercessors will be the same as Astra Militarum Veterans ..... No actual kit so have to be either converted or just painted differently....

Well those prices are a bit higher than I worked out which is even higher than I had hoped at best case. Almost £75 for a the 3 primaris stuff is a bit ridiculous!

£29 for a single ETB character? Lord Felthius was only £25 as I recall and he came with 3 terminators. Count me out. Cheaper to buy a spare bike and convert.
I play Ravenwing and I'll be skipping that model and make my own. In Australia that will be almost $80 I'd say. Priced higher than the current codex of $70 so its a no from me...

The silent king being 200 is...yeesh, a hard sell for sure. Like I'm sure it's going to be a massive model with tons of details. But is it going to be equivalent to archaon? Because that's a huge model and has the about the same price point
