The FAQ for our Supplement went up.

Notable Changes

Eye of Hypnoth works on core only

Tor Garadon Signum Array changed to plus one to Hit, can work on non-core.

Legacy of Dorn can now only work on Heavy Weapons Strength 7 or higher.

Fist off Terra is now flat 2 instead of D3 -Edit, Thanks St. Lazarus

Fist of Terra was d3 damage, It was the crimson fist  relic that was flat 3.

Centurions lost access to all the good stratagems.  IF was obliterated by this FAQ imo.  A real shame :(

I noticed this as well. I was already not using them after the point increase but little chance will come back now.

This last faq has left me quite frustrated. The fact that the superdoctrine no longer works on the most used Imperial Fists weapons leaves something to be desired from a rule that supposedly adds a buff according to the background of the chapter.

I dunno, the only weapon that I used regularly that fit the background and rules of the Chapter and the super doctrine didn't change with this update. It isn't like there's much background with the onslaught cannon.

My Stalker bolt rifle Intercessors have been thoroughly nerfed against vehicles, as has the Redemptors I only got to use once. The Eliminators even lost their sergeant ability that made them okay against vehicles in a pinch.

At least Eradicators exist now I guess, but its a pity I basically have to bring the flavour of the month unit to give an all infantry primaris army real anti-tank. Though I guess I could work out a way to drum up 5 heavy helblasters.

I get that, but prior to this we had IF Centurions with Seismic Devastation taking down flippin' Knights. I'm all for unique army concepts, but a boltgun taking down a Knight feels like extreme cheese. In the end, the only bolt weapon affected is the Stalker Bolt Rifle and the Eliminator's weapon, and the idea that an Infantry squad with marksman bolt weaponry would be blowing up tanks is pretty silly imho. Heavy Bolter went from doing 2 damage against vehicles turn 1 to doing 2 damage against everything all the time, so that didn't change for us much.

I would blame units like the Gladiator Reaper making this necessary. That thing was built to shred infantry, but with that many shots I think it was undoubtedly a problem for IF in playtesting. Tank Hunters plus Legacy of Dorn on anti-infantry heavy weaponry always felt super gamey to me, so while I think it's right that it is gone, it doesn't feel that great because it was honestly the only thing holding the IF supplement together.
