BT 2000pts, Primaris Black Tide?

I have been making lists the old school way with a calculator and notepad and I've decided to give Ben Cherwien's list a bit of my own twist, now what he did was create a blob of a very tough threat to remove so essentially giving the opponent a bad choice no matter what they did because they cant kill 40 wounds with 4++/+1Sv, so here is my take on that idea

HQ
Helbrecht
Bladeguard Lieutenant
Primaris Master of Sanctity [Aurillian Shroud, Fervent Acclamation, Litany of Divine Protection] WLT: Wise Orator

Elites
Bladeguard Ancient
Primaris Chief Apothecary [Crusader's Helm] WLT: Selfless Healer
Bladeguard Veterans [5xBGV]
Bladeguard Veterans [5xBGV]
Bladeguard Veterans [4xBGV]

Troops
Assault Intercessor [10 man, Power Fist]
Assault Intercessor [10 man, Power Fist]
Intercessor Squad [5 man, Bolt Rifles, Power Sword]
Intercessor Squad [5 man, Bolt Rifles, Power Sword]

Heavy Support
Eradicator
Eradicator

Total 2000

Now it doesnt have the turn 1 threat in a Drop Pod and everything is in general slow but with the Aurillian Shroud you can give units within 3" a 4++ for a turn, then you add the Apothecary plus the Vox Espiritum and then every unit with 6" has a 6+FNP and then the Chaplain can just choose a unit to get a 5+FNP. So for at least one turn you could get something like 60 wounds to just have 4++/6+++ and the rest be 4++/5+++.

Now, can you boost the Aurillian Shroud by using Fervent Acclamation? It is an aura but for now Im gonna say you cant because the Shroud needs to be activated at the beginning of the round which is before the command phase, if Im wrong please let me know because if I am wrong then the Chaplain just takes Canticle of Hate and Exhortation of Rage for some reach and kill power instead of straight up resilience.

EDIT: Changed the list to bring it to 2000pts after checking the points through Battlescribe and adding Helbrecht to it.

This looks like a lot of fun! I tried doing a primaris Black Tide several times in 8th (with the Indomitus Crusaders detachment,  RIP) and it never really worked because regular Intercessors weren't fighty enough. But now that Assault Intercessors and Bladeguard are a thing, and on smaller boards, it could really have some kick!

If the bolter Intercessors are to sit on objectives, you might consider other rifle types, and an Astartes Grenade Launcher now that you get to fire it in addition to the main weapon. You could maybe swap out the power swords for the grenades to get the points.

I'd be tempted to use Helbrecht rather than the bladeguard captain, to boost all those chainswords to S5 and the Bladeguard to S6. If Death Guard, Custodes, and Gravis all continue to be relevant, S6 may actually matter a lot.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I can shave off a single Bladeguard and get Helbrecht and you are right he would be better. Right now all Im waiting for are for the full Bladeguard kit and for this pandemic to be over so I can get some games!.
