I really enjoy all the Destroyer models, so I was just curious if something like this could be viable. I'm aware it's probably far from competitive.

The basic idea is to have the Warriors sit on a backfield objective, and either have the Scarabs do the same, or potentially deep-strike them to be annoying somewhere else. Ophydians harass choice targets when they pop up. The main body has the Skorpekhs and the two Lords blob up the board with fire support from all the Lokhusts, who also have the range to sit on objectives if I need them to. Lokhust Lord is more or less a distraction with some killy power if he gets to where he needs to be, Skorpekh is a buff vector for his boys until he's also ready to fight.

Alternatively, I'd use a custom detachment with Relentless Expansionists and the +1 to charge rolls, replace the Blood Scythe with the Voidreaper, and give the Lokhust Lord the Eternal Madness trait. The 6" move from Relentless sounds like it could be really tasty for the list.

But anyway, thoughts? Criticism? Am I a dumb boy?

Probably.
