Really looking to get into SoB as i just love some of the models from Raging Heros.

 

 

The list centres around Repentia Squads & Penitent Engines/Mortifiers

Will this be very competitve? Nope...Will it be fun? I have no idea, thats why i was hoping to get some advice from you guys.

One thing i do know is that i will look sexy as hell.

The Repentia squads go into the Immolators 

One of the Battle sister squads goes into a rhino

Characters jump in where necessary

 

I am not sold on the seraphims

I just think in reality they are too easy to screan out...the list so far comes to 1983, so could drop one unit for 8 arco flagallents

4 S8 AP-4 D6 damage in the back field on turn 2 and 3 could also be useful though

 

The mortifiers with heavy bolters put out 30 S5 AP-1 D2 shots.

The reason for the flails is because they dont have zelot, and also they can deal with hordes

The Penitent engines can then deal with hordes with flamers (8D6 auto-hits), and then multi-wound models in combat, and be more reliable thanks to zelot

 

With the changes to the way S and x2S work, i dont think the Imagifier is as usefull now, as your sisters will only be S7 rather than S8, thats why i am not fussed about increasing his aura and would rather just have the +1 attack

The repentia squads are there to jump out, kill whatever they charge and then die.

 

Would also be tempted to drop one of the cannonness for a preacher...spread the +1A aura

The Immolators provide some anti-tank

Had a think about the list a decided to drop the rhino, both cannonness's and the imagifier

 

Instead taking Celestine and a priest.

 

The repenta superior will spend 1CP to take a WLT (+1 to SoF) and the relic to increase aura by 3"

The missionary may then also take a WLT (Re-roll wound rolls) and benficicence.

 

The cannoness was kind of pointless as they were only giving re-roll 1's to the immolators
