New Forge World Ground Assets

I was just wondering if anyone had received their new ground assets yet? I pre-ordered the Imperial set and had expected to see them arrive the weekend just gone, but they’ve not even been despatched yet. I know they’re taking extra precautions to ensure their staff are COVID-safe, so hopefully it’s just that, but wondered if other people had found the same thing, or whether anyone’s actually had their sets already?

I didn't order any, so what follows is not a direct answer to your question, but I did pre-order some of the recent Orlock stuff from GW, which was sent on the day of release (i.e. the Saturday) and arrived on the Wednesday.  When I pre-ordered some of the Escher stuff, they arrived on the day of release, so I think maybe GW has got a bit behind with their dispatching recently?

 

I would say if you're worried, drop them an e-mail, but given their 2-week turn-around, you might get your minis before the reply :/

Yeah, this is why I’ve not bothered to contact them yet... But thanks for the info, annoying that they seem to have dropped the ball with this release after such a long wait for them to be available!

I preordered the FW compendium on the 31st, release was on the 6th. My order did not ship until the 11th and received a couple of days later.

 

All my orders seem to be shipping a few days later than I would have expected pre COVID.

 

You should get a shipping email by the end of the week.
