That's what's been posted in FB group.
+1/+1 WS/BS, +1 wound, +1 attack.
Forge World daemon engines also have 3+/3+, dare I say that we'll see this change on all other engines?

A lot of these sheets were incorrect for the space marine ones prevously but if this is true, I'm over the moon. It's an extra wound too if I'm not mistaken

Wow, if Daemon Engines go to 3+ WS/BS...that is a huge change.

If this happens then I bet they lose the +1 to hit from fielding a squad of 3....

And am pretty sure the price will go up heavily (which I don't like :/ )

Armies:

40k: Deathguard, Steel Legion, Word Bearers, Space wolves, Necrons

WFB: Night goblins, Empire, Dark Elves

Bear in mind they can also move and fire without penalty in 9th which is handy and Multimeltas have received a serious buff! As long as any price hike is not excessive, I think they will still be very good in 9th.
Sanguinius stood up, stretching his wings to their full extent. He flexed his hands. "I need no blade".
It was as though Sanguinius gleamed with pale light, his face white, eyes becoming blood-red, surrounded by the golden crown of flowing hair. Guilliman had witnessed glimpses of of his brother's wrath before, but had never seen the true Blood Angel unleashed. Sanguinius surged forward on alabaster wings, half a meter from the floor, whiteness streaming from him like flames.

This looks suspiciously like the statline of a Contemptor, does it not?

BS, WS, Wounds, and Attacks got bumped by 1, so it's not that off from previous - not sure how much the Contemptor looks like that to call it suspicious.

Depending on points it would actually be better than a contemptor.

It is precisely the same as a Contemptor except the MBH is faster and has one point less Str.

Nice! Always liked those little toxic tankettes, good to see them getting buffed.

I come here to discuss and find out about Warhammer 40,000 with people of every ethnicity, sexuality, country and yes, as sickening as it is, even Eldar players.

I have an Instagram too, if you like that sort of thing!

They could before, too. They just won't need all 3 to get the 3+ now which is a godsend.

I'm afraid they might lose the 1 - 3 vehicules in a squadron part, so that they become our Dreads on wheels...

But so far the 9th ed profile is quite nice ; hopefully they will not cost more than 150pts.

MBH is more little than the foetid drone: I don't see them loosing the unit (of 1-3) feature. But it seems that GW want to rework everything...

You hurt me sir! I love the Defilers kit censored.gif

On that note: Heres hoping this is indicative of all engines getting a little boost. All my chaos lists run engines and they are the thing that makes us unique. They deserve to be very solid on the table and well-rounded.

Normally I would say that this is crazy, but they gave the entire Deathwing permanent transhuman for free, on top of other buffs, so anything is possible.

I'm expecting it to be -1 to wound if DR ends up being changed; feels like the most likely of the "DR revamp" rumours/theories that have been floating around. It's mathematically very similar to the current version of DR but requires less rolling.

I'd miss the current version of DR though, always found it fun

-1 to wound is incredibly broken. It's better than Transhuman Physiology for all units, and has mathematically the same effect as it means that no practical weapon found in lists will wound a Plague Marine on anything better than a 4, whist weapons below Str 5 will halve their potential wounds, now only doing damage on a roll of 6.
This will never happen.

-1 to damage, to a minimum of 1 is a better system. It reduced damage, and doesn't require extra rolling, and overall the units are still tougher due to the extra wounds.
