xommul Posted December 16, 2020 Share Posted December 16, 2020 Hi All, Ive been browsing the forums for some time but had issues getting approved before the system deleted a request. Im in now however so hi. Ive been playing WH40 / Necromunda since i was 13 (in the 90's) but came away from it for some time and like a lot of people returned at the beginning of 8th. Since then i have managed to build an army of Smurfs, mostly primaris but some first born assault troops, vets, tacticals, devs, preds and transports. I got my hands on 2 Indomitus boxes and again they are all smurfs, i did toy with starting a new chapter but i just love Blue! What can i say. I also began collecting Orks, and now have somewhere in the region of 100 boys, several trucks, battlewagons, flyers, dreads, a host of mega nobs, buggies.... well you can see how this snowballed. I made them a custom colour chapter so i could run them all factions as well... i dont want to paint another 100 boys. I am also collecting the Necrons now from Indomitus set, i clearly ended up with several chars which i wont need but i see them as Bits for conversion now. After a complete mare with an online store taking my money for the Necron battleforce set then days later cancelling it I managed to get a necrons battle force box and then got carried away and ordered a metric tonne of stuff this xmas some of which GW have yet to get round to producing as is always the case this time of year. Well anyways, im sure i will be in and out of the forums giving photo updates, putting army lists up, discussing unit efficiencies. as yes i also play a bit. We have an active group near me and we have formed a tight group of about 10 all with different armies so we are or were (before covid) running a league. Its a fun hobby and seriously addictive.
