Castle Wolfenstein Posted December 18, 2020 Share Posted December 18, 2020 I have played 0 games since the new codex and supplement were released. For those of you that have played, whether live and in person or on TTS, how is the new army-wide heroic intervention working out? Better than anticipated? Worse? What are you doing with your armies to get the most out of it? At first I was really underwhelmed by the change but since then have heard good things about it, including from the goonhammer team who are usually pretty spot-on with their assessments. So, I am really curious as to how this is playing out in practice. Most of you are greater tactical minds than I so I'm eager to get your input. CrystalSeer Posted December 18, 2020 Share Posted December 18, 2020 It allows you to defend objectives during your enemies turn, giving you a combat you wouldn't otherwise have if they try to claim/deny in their turn. TiguriusX Posted December 18, 2020 Share Posted December 18, 2020 HI won me a game today in round 3 of a GT (2-1 so far) I will write the batrep later but basically I used 2 blade guard Veterans to HI 6" and kill a ravenwing landspeeder vengeance that was trying to contest the objective and deny me points (only 1 of the BGV was standing on it at the time).
