Cleon Posted June 26, 2021 Author Share Posted June 26, 2021 Thanks - If I was starting again I'd use Averland sunset as my base instead of Vallejo Japanese uniform, but at the time I just assumed the GW yellows were rubbish because they always had been... June hass been pretty rubbish progress wise for me, a week away and a heatwave really impeded my drive to paint, but a bit of late month focus got my June 12 months of hobby Tactical squad done along with a Contemptor Dread that's been sitting there waiting for me to be re-inspired by the Heresey that got a burst from the box set rumours... Just need to find that Ravenwing upgrade sprue I swapped for and squirreled away for his in built assault cannon. Annoyingly the only thing the light box seems to be doing at the moment is picking out decals that look alright in natural light. Apparently I need to adjust the contrast exposure to prevent the camera's AI from over correcting the light box illumination, I just need to find the bloomin button... I feel a bit dumb now... Bladeguard: Eradicators: Deathwatch redemptor dread - Lightbox showed it needs another coat of matting varnish on the decals...
