USNCenturion
I would love to see a story or video detailing the years and meetings of the Horus Heresy and Siege of Terra. Talking to the writers and editors and knowing what discussions were had and what path they wanted to take would be fascinating to me. I know they have pictures of the SoT writers around their table; it would be great if they videotaped some of the discussions or interviewed the writers more in depth. For examples I’d love to know what ADB heard from the artillery and geologist experts he interviewed for his siege entry, how certain authors worked or didn’t work out (like how some only had one or two entires), how things differed from planning stages to finished products and why they didn’t go the routes they did, etc. I’d pay money for the full behind the scenes retrospective. Do you think there’s an idea here or is anyone else curious of all the behind curtains stuff? R_F_D and Roomsky 2 Back to top
R_F_D
Completely agree with this and I've mentioned it to Nick Kyme at a BL Weekender. I am fairly certain the SoT meetings are recorded in some form (at least in note form but maybe recorded in audio) but what level of record exists of the earliest meetings I'm not sure. Roomsky
Definitely, the notes we've gotten so far have been fascinating enough, and I'm interested in seeing where some of the mistakes came from (the convo where everyone agreed Thane should show up, please.) Would also like to know how much Guilliman's return affected initial plans for their ability to do another surprise primarch death (eg: Lorgar.)
