Hello!

Greetings friends,

I figured that my first thread should be in the appropriate section, so here we are. 

I'm Atlon, an Italian wargamer  that has been in love with the 40K setting for many years now. I took quite a long break from the hobby around the end of 5th edition, and came back with the release of the Horus Heresy boxed set; though I started playing 40K proper again only with 8th edition.

I would say that I'm a painter and lore-nerd first, and a gamer second. I've been lurking around the B&C on and off for quite some time, but I figured it was time to get properly involved.

I currently play Black Templars (my first love) and Death Guard, and am slowly working on a small force of Mantis Warriors. I also have an Alpha Legion heresy army that I do not use much anymore, but of which I am quite proud.

Welcome Atlon! I'm a Death Guard fan as well, and love that they're getting some love right now. I'd love to see your armies when you can get photos of them up. :)

Welcome Atlon! I'm a Death Guard fan as well, and love that they're getting some love right now. I'd love to see your armies when you can get photos of them up.

I have posted some pictures of my Black Templars here: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/368776-the-antiochian-crusade/. Unfortunately my Death Guard is not yet painted, as I've been busy with other hobby projects, but one day I will get down to do it.
