Hey guys putting this up here because despite me and my group sending this discrepancy in to the FAQ it didn't get addressed, and I don't think most DW players even realize its there.  Currently DW terms via the first FAQ are paying 5 points more for heavy flamer, plasma cannon, and assault cannons than normal terms for every other marine faction.  IE a DW term (or one in a kill team) pays 48 for a power fist hvy flamer loadout and a normal term pays 43, despite being statistically identical.  Hvy flamers for DW are set at 10, Assaults at 15 and plasmas at 15.  Deathwing terms can also take plasmas and those are costed at 10.  Other terms pay 5 for hvy flamer and 10 for assault cannons.

 

I suspect most of us don't know this point discrepancy exists, and hoping this post gets some people to notice it.  The more of us spamming their inboxes with the fact that DW are paying 5 points more for the same gear on the same stat line as other marines, the more likely they are to fix this oversight because apparently they ignore any issue not being spammed at them.  Please spread the word and ask GW to fix this!

I noticed it and thought that was just the price for Deathwatch.

I never noticed, but i did notice that cyclones are 5 points cheaper for dw than space marine terminators
