Base coat a gloss black primer (I use a matt varnish in the end so gloss doesnt matter), Do highlights where I want the light source with torqouise and grey mixed thru an airbrush (this takes practice, but is extremely fast once mastered. Honestly that would be enough for a good table top troop. Edge highlighting with a brush (feather or glaze) the same mix with some white in the middle of the highlights. Edge highlight with grey, white, and turquoise mix. Dot white on corners and glaze in some of the body highlights with a tiny spot of white.
