Can a Veteran Intercessor Sergeant equip a Thunder Hammer and Plasma pistol? He would lose the bolt gun and bolt pistol to do so.

 

I'm looking at the codex entry and I think I'm good, but the way it's worded is odd.

The latest Battlescribe update lists it as invalid, I know codex takes precedence over BS.

I'm looking for a second group think opinion.

 

Also previously I could toggle Primaris only in Battlescribe when building a force, now I can't find it.

It cannot take both. The codex says that it can only replace its bolt rifle with a plasma pistol if it is not equipped with a thunder hammer (or several other weapons).
