Overall idea is to hamper movement and be durable with a couple heavy hitters to punish anything that tries to break my lines.

Any questions about specifics of the tactics are welcome and general c&c.

We played priority targets, I took the mission objective, scramblers and purge the vermin. My opponent similarly took priority targets, scramblers and engage on all fronts.

I deployed quite defensively but in a position where I could swarm the center relatively quickly. I won the roll to go first.

I took the chance given to me and swarmed the middle of the board with warriors turn1 and pushed the scarabs toward one of my opponents priority objectives just to force them into diverting some attention towards them. I did nothing else on that turn.

Over the next two turns I did essentially nothing. My opponent chipped away at the warriors but I got very lucky with my reanimations and frustratingly still had a full warrior squad left turn 3.

End of turn 2 the ultras inceptors came down and put a heap of plasma into my skorpekh, I popped the -1 to wound strat and barely held on to 2 skorpekh. Turn 3 I moved the scarabs and the skorpekh back to deal with the inceptors and they wiped them out. The rest of my game consisted of enduring and racking up points.

The nightbringer got chipped away of the course of the game but did kill row boat in one round of combat. The other ctan threw mortal wounds around and beat down 2 dreadnoughts in combat in the final turns.

We called it at the start of turn 5 as I had 85/90 points and my opponent could only realistically hit 50 by the end of the game. I barely had anything left but I took the win.

Next game is against new death guard, likely either massed plague marines and termies or Morty himself. Hopefully I'll report back.
