Back at it.... Again! (Update 4-24: The start of my EC!)

Hey guys! Been a long time since I've posted anything around here. Always stayed a casual lurker but stopped painting a few years back. Life's been busy and my oldest son and I started on some other hobby stuff together.

Anyways, I was recently approached by a friend from the local hobby shop who asked if I'd be willing to bust out the brushes for an Indomitus Captain done up as a Blood Angel. Couldn't resist, so I accepted. Annnnd.... ordered myself up some models as well. No intention of doing any full armies, just some odds and ends.

Definitely a little rusty! Some things worked out for me, others not so much, but overall I'm fairly happy with the way it turned out.

Photo's definitely don't hide the mistakes and I see a few touch ups I need to make. Kinda sad I have to give it back haha. Would love some C&C to take on into the next project which will be a Black Templars EC!

P.S. I realize this model is fairly well completed and probably belongs in the HoH but since I intend to post the upcoming models at various stages of completion I figured here was best!

A grand return to the hobby. In particular I like the finish on the marine, he's got that slightly dirty/worn look which I personally quite enjoy. Hope you stick around.

So time to paint has not been incredibly forthcoming of late, but I managed to find some yesterday and today and made a small amount of progress on my Emperor's Champion. Not a single item on him is in a finished state, but here he is! (painting black is not fun lol)

As always, your comments and criticisms are very much appreciated!

P.S. As an aside here, I posted a few of my completed mini's on here back in 2015. If I wanted to consolidate them into one thread, would it be inappropriate of me to repost them in this one?

That Emperor's Champion is a very nice model and off to a solid start.
