Hey everyone. I have a pseudo competitive tournament coming up. I plan on running a Horus heresy inspired blood angels army (painted as emperors children). My personal rules for this army are

1. The fire raptor stays due to rule of cool.

2. Only first born units are allowed.

I think it's a neat list, I'm excited to see how the Fire Raptor and Relic Terminators do. My first thoughts would be to switch out one claw on the Terminators for a combi-bolter. You'd lose one attack, but gain four shots. Additionally, I expect the Raptor will be a priority target for your opponent. Perhaps drop a character for a Librarian who could throw the Raptor an Invuln and buff a unit with Unleash Rage to compensate for the loss whichever aura you lose to include him.

What's your plan for secondaries? Oaths of Moment with the Terminators, Relentless Assault/Engage, and?

It's certainly very interesting and the type of list I'd look into fielding. Many people will focus on the Fire Raptor and the large blob of Terminators whilst ignoring the jump units until it is too late, meanwhile the Tacticals do the dirty work back home. Personally, I'd look to squeezing in a heavy weapon on one of the Tactical Squads, but that depends entirely on your plan for them (i.e if they are out of sight all game, then the heavy weapon is somewhat pointless).

With the fire raptor if my opponent has a ton of firepower I will definitely be spending the 3 CP to put it in strategic reserve.

For secondary objectives Definitely Oath and engage, not one hundred percent sure on a 3rd though if in doubt I will deploy scramblers.

They are going to be snagging objectives while the scary stuff shoots up the board and gets stuck in.
