Random pics: My ambulance

I've been away for several years in a failed relationship with the book of faces. Now that I've abandoned social media and returned to this ancient technology, I have some catching up to do on the collected wisdom of the B&C community. In the meantime, I thought I'd show off my latest work, the most broken unit in our codex:

I say "broken" only because the upcharge for the master apothecary is the same, regardless of movement. The ability to apply ravenwing movement (and other rules) makes this guy MASSIVELY more valuable than a deathwing or 5th company apothecary.

Welcome back! Good to see you posting again!

Thanks, Luci!  You were pretty much the only mod I remembered...

Welcome back! It’s good to see you here again

Nice apothecary, too

Until you turned up.  I remember we chatted about Tokyo because I got to live in Minami Azabu at taxpayer expense in 2013.  The rent was "only" 840k/mo...:whistling: Funny update to that.  I'm in Hawaii now, and pre-COVID, I made 5-7 trips a year to Japan.  Unfortunately it was almost exclusively to Tokyo, but it gave me the opportunity to pick up some of those exclusive push fit blind bag marines...I was so excited... then I learned that they were only briefly exclusive to Japan, and I could have gotten them anywhere in the U.S.  Anywhere but Hawaii, that is.  No GW stores in the state.  So I guess Tokyo was the only place I could pick them up, after all.

I'll join the chorus of welcome backs. I got a lot of good ideas from your Deathwing battle reports back in the day. That's a nice looking apothecary. It's refreshing to see some bright colours used on a Dark Angel.

I've been on a hobby hiatus myself but I'm lurking here while I catch up on painting my Blackstone Fortress collection.

Hmmm...the sea of dark green, black, and drab bone does tend to make apothecaries and librarians stand out, doesn't it?
