Night Lords 1500 points "centurion format"

What do you think about this list?

It is intented for "centruion" format.
(Tanks, Fliers, Drop Pods, Superheavies are not allowed.. Bikes, Attack Bikes, Jet Bikes, Artillery, Monstrous Creatures, Leviathan Siege Dreadnoughts are 0-1 choices. )

 

Terror assault RoW

Centurion Delegatus - 135 pts
  warlord, refractor field, jump pack, artificer armour, trophies of judgemenet, headsma's axe

  1. sergeant chainfist + combi-weapon

  2. chainfist + plasmablaster

  3. powerfist + combi-weapon

  4. and 5. poweraxe + combi-bolter

  teleportation transponder

 

Night Raptor Squad - 340 pts

  huntmaster - artificer armour, melta bomb, trophies of judgement, power axe

  14x night raptor - 3 replace chainsword with power axe

 

Terror Squad - 305 pts

  headsman - artificer armour, nostraman chainglaive, volkite charger

  9x executioner - all have volkite charger

  meltabombs

Delegatus and apothecary will go with Night Raptors. Which pattern of terminato armour should I use on terminators?
Are 2 Laser Destroyer Arrays and meltabombs enough do deal with some Dreadnoughts I can encounter?

As per usual for such lists, very few ranged anti-tank but hey - it’s a common theme for Terror Assault and it’s Centurion so let’s hope it’s fine, either terror squad or chainfists should reach them.  If you need more Anit-tank then Javelins are a great choice to keep in mind for terror assault. I think Cataphractii are more popular choice but I use both variants depending on their loadout.

Only a couple of tweaks came to my mind:

 

- Headsman’s Axe is an interesting weapon and for me at least it’s absolutely mandatory on Huntmaster, I can see appeal of 5 regular axe attacks on Huntmaster (though 3 axemen alone can evaporate a whole termi squad, really Raptors are prone to overkill)  but I really value him in challenges – he is just a sergeant, yet his stats are almost like centurion (3A, WS5) and if lucky, especially while you have +1 I, he can kill enemy praetor or centurion. And you don’t risk any victory point or Seeds of Dissent check if he dies there unlike Delegatus.

 

- Btw, very few special weapons on Raptors, rare sight I'd say considering a sword is only 5 pts (compared to 15 pts per new member) and will net 3x as many dead marines. Maybe you'd get more mileage by swapping,say 1-2 members for sword/axes or chainglaives which are a very flexible choice.

 

 

- if you are sure to be using combi-plasmas on the first turn after DS., I would think about giving them to axemen, you don’t want sarge to die thanks to Gets Hot! if it can be helped. Or double down on them and give everyone a plasma. Just a suggestion, nothing wrong with what you did.

I consider one 'bigger change'. I can replace terminators and rapier batteries with following:

2x contemptor-cortus dreadnought

1. fist + chainfist + extra armour

2. 2x kheres assault canon + extra armour + havoc louncher

There will be also some spare point I can spend on melta mom for delegatus and weapon on havocs.

I guess you want big squads because of the ‘talent for murder’? I was thinking maybe just ordinary land speeders instead of the rapiers. Melta and grav would do the job and be very mobile (maybe a bit fragile, and not as much bang for your buck as javelins). And maybe fits the fluff of a more fast-moving assault force.
