The Forbidden Chamber of Knowledge

Recommended Posts

Hello brothers,

as we have our "Big 9th edition room" where we discuss changes, feedback and our current status on the table, I want to create a new room where we can discuss each changes or new added lore from any source. This can include just a small mention in a white dwarf campaign or just one sentene in another book (like the mention of Castellan Draco in the Imperial Fists lore).

I will start with a fact from  "Gate of bones" by Guy Haley

LUCERNE a created Primaris marine which want to join the Black Templars after the Indomitus cruase. And I think it will be adressed at any time.

Cawls varied methods of "acquiring" recruits for the Primaris-Project have led to some unusual results. One of those is Sergeant Lucerne. He carries the Geneseed of the Imperial Fists, but was taken relatively late in his life and visited a Seminary to become a Priest before Cawl basically abducted him. As such, he's still deeply religious (which the other Marines in his Squad all find very weird) and dreams of becoming a Black Templar one day.

Let's not forget the mention in the imperial fists supplement:

...and Draco was declared excommunicate

traitoris for deeds too terrible to recount.

I personally hope it's confirmed Draco deleted an mouthy Inquisitor.

Plus a renegade/penance crusade specialist detachment would be cool.

I have the impression that this story has just been invented by games workshop so that everyone can say that even here there can be traitors.

Do you know those moments with our friends or we tease each other with our armies?

The Inquisition is a petty, fetid lot. Let us not forget their transgressions upon our Celestial Lion friends.

In my perspective, one line from the original Star Wars (ANH) led to one of the most respected and beloved series of the whole genre (Clone Wars). Though it is completely improbable (but not impossible), the story of Draco could become something we see on Warhammer +

In the last "Valrak" stream he answers a few questions. But nothing special here, he said that he just was interested into the models.

But in terms of lore: At the start, Helbrecht were not open minded into Primaris Marines but then Guilliman conviced him

Is this from a new source, or another incorrect recollection of THAT box in the 8.0 SM codex?

I ve heard that in the new campaign book there is stated that Helbrecht + Yarrick are in the octarius sector because they hunt Ghazzi there.

Not sure but this could easy to be read by one of us here in the next days.
