Juacobot Posted May 31, 2021 Share Posted May 31, 2021 Hello fellow plastic enthusiasts, I'm just another 30+ guy getting back into the hobby. Spanish but based in Germany, where I pursue my PhD. I'm mostly interested in true scaling and conversion in general. I follow a strict philosophy of only buying cheap second hand crusty old marines, and not so old but still crusty and cheap stuff. I've mostly bought chaos space marines and death guard, and a ton of random 40k and AoS bits. I hope you're all fine and washing your hands often! I started buying again some stuff around September last year as a way of entertaining myself at home with the varus and all, but I had been listening to lore youtube channels for some time. I've always felt drawn to this sort of dark lore. So yeah, things have changed since I was a prepubescent kid spending all my money on warhammer. I've bought so many different things since September that I can't make up my mind which projects to pursue! I've been true scaling some marines, truescaling and converting some to death guard, but I need a bigger goal! I've been trying to develop a cheap and quick way to true scale without having to use terminators just by scaling regular old marines up. But this takes time, so now I'm trying to find the fastest way to do it. Since I don't play and don't know much in this regard, it could help me a lot to figure out an army list so that I have a clear picture of the units I want to truescale and convert.
