World Eaters 2k

So I'm thinking of a nice core army for World Eaters to build some 2k lists around. Don't want to be stuck with the same list for years to come, but also don't want to buy the complete Forgeworld catalogue :)

 

Here's what I'm thinking:

 

Khârn + Gorechild

Gahlan Surlak

 

10x Inductii with power fist and artificer armor sarge

 

10x Inductii with power fist and artificer armor sarge

 

15x despoilers with power fist and artificer sarge

 

Land Raider Phobos + dozer

 

Land Raider Phobos + dozer

 

Spartan + dozer + armored ceramite

 

Give or take 1600pt

 

Room for:

 

1) Red Butchers in an anvillus

2) Knight Palladin

3) Leviathan in a dread pod

4) Imperial Cultists allies

Platoon command

Fire Support Squad 5x las cannon

Heavy Ordnance battery 2x Medusa artillery

 

Do you think this is viable and/or fun to play with or against?

Personally, I’d save the Inductii for higher point levels and run them as Despoilers at 2k. You have only one scoring unit like this.

 

But maybe I’m just not thinking like a World Eater.

Scoring ey.. what is this concept you speak of? Will it bleed if I hit it with my chain axe?

 

Actually you have a valid point there. I thought World Eaters didn't care about scoring. Table or be tabled ^^
