Rumors of Craftworlds getting model(s)

So valrak on his streams lately has been alluding to black Templar’s getting a big wave soon, and this has been confirmed by a bunch of other people with inside knowledge. BUT, he has mentioned in a couple vids, that eldar should be getting some love before them (assumingly with a codex). What model updates do we think we’re most likely to see?

Plastic guardians and plastic versions of the currently-resin Aspects, I’d say.

And damn it will be unbearably tempting.

EDIT: I hope there’ll be enough bitz for making a full squad of defender guardians or storm guardians in the same box. And new options for the exarchs.

I think y'all should be hoping that you don't get any release this year. The pattern of releases has alternated between BIG model refreshes, and smaller updats. Necrons (big), Death Guard/Drukhari/AdMech (small), SoB (big), Grey Knights/Thousand Sons seem like a small release, then probably Orks afterwords and they look to be getting a big release. I think if you guys come shortly after Orks yall might get a small update similar to DG/AM/DE, with a single character model.

I'd love to be wrong though, all the aspects in plastic would tempt me into starting a small Craftworld force. Throw in a greater daemon sized Avatar and I'd dive right in

If we're to get a range refresh, we'll be one of the last to get our Codexes. Necrons got their Range Refresh at the start. Orks are getting theirs in the middle (ish).

Valrak has spoken a lot about the hefty Black Templar rumours and their supplement+minor range refresh, in with these he has said that there should be an Eldar codex/release in between Orks and Black Templars. If it's Harlequins, we'll be getting a range refresh, if it's Craftworlds we won't be. I cannot see Craftworlds getting an update so soon after Orks.

We have only seen one Rumour Engine that is definitely Eldar, nothing else has really been any sembalance of Eldar esque.

We've got a Warhammer preview this weekend, I imagine that they'll show off the next few codexes to get a release

Orks are coming before GK/TS. They’re next up actually

I don't think that's true. The Chapter Approved revision had points in it for the revised GK/TS, but due to delays they released revised points for GK/TS until they get theirbs cond wound. This chapter approved had nothing for new Ork stuff.

If Orks do come next I could see a better chance for an expanded CWE release if a decent gap is established from the Beast-Snaggas stuff.

GW have confrimed that Orks are next (July, no hard date yet) then TS/GK.

I agree on CWE being updated later on in the release cycle  otherwise we're like to get nothing more than 1 character model as other codexes have
