Kenzaburo Posted July 15, 2021 Share Posted July 15, 2021 These Multipart Bladeguard kits are slick. The way the little belt clips into the waist, clamshell style is nice design. I'm loving building these guys. Finished a Sarg based on the Lt kit. Looks good. Moving onto an Lt based on a Multipart base guy. Totally agree. Put a squad of them together this week, too. Such a cool kit - I just wish I could use all the options provided in the box, like the hands wiping the sword. But I chose to go with a more standard sword and board look. This thread has been quite the help - I bought 2 vets from Indomitus off of ebay to complete a 5 man squad. But what's the consensus on arming them? I went with Volkite on Sarge and LT, because it's Neo-Choom :D and I liked the rules. But looking at some net lists, I saw more people opting for the standard bolt option. Karhedron Posted July 15, 2021 Share Posted July 15, 2021 I usually take Neo volkite. 2 shots at S5 and the potential to fish for MWs isn't bad for 5 points. Having said that, it is not a "must have" so if you are tight for points, don't feel like it is anauto-take.
