This looks to be the first of the new combat patrols that includes new models. 4/5 units of new models is bound to be popular. Between boyz, Necron warriors and the Krieg models it does make me hopeful that armies such as asuryani and tyranids will get their core troops updated when their turn comes around. My coworker was looking to get orks as his second army and was mad when the snagga box sold out (he was in que early and at like 9 min after US GW was sold out). That warboss in Mega Armor was the model he wanted the most, this will be a good alternative that should be easier to get his hands on. Burni Posted July 21, 2021 Share Posted July 21, 2021 This is top of my purchase list now, can't wait to get my dirty green hands on it. I did have a concerning thought that it might be like the slaves to darkness set where they are all on a mixed sprue and unavailable elsewhere, but the fact that the boys repeat (including the nobs) and the dred is in there means it could only possibily be the megaboss and the deffkoptas that could be mixed, which seems unlikely. I'm pretty sure they are all separate kits and will hopefully get separate box releases (as I need more boys). Clan wise, snakebites and goffs work pretty well for either normal or snaggas for melee so you stay cohesive with the paint scheme. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

StraightSilver Posted July 21, 2021 Share Posted July 21, 2021 Well this is annoying.I have never started an Ork army, despite being jealous of how fun they are to play, because I was never keen on the majority of the infantry models.However, I really like the new Boyz, and will end up with Kommandos as part of Kill Team.This is making it much, much harder to say no......
