Numbers for Dark Angel banners

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Has anyone found numbers, 3d printed or decal that goes from 1 to 20, but small enough to fit on the small square section of the winged sword banner that comes with the veterans box.

All my greening squads are using these banners and it would top them off nicely with a squad number on them as well.

Any ideas, thanks

You might look for tiny brass numbers from stores that sell items for Doll Houses.

They make tons of tiny details for them.

There are also ebay sellers that make brass sheets of icons for 40k, if you contact one of them, they can custom make a sheet for you of exactly what you want.

Just curious why you are looking for up to 1-20 instead of 1-10?

Are you not able to edit the image?

Alternatively if you are just trying to distinguish between the combat squad the sergeant goes into and the one that the "counts as sergeant" goes into you can just use an alternative background color.

So for example everyone is green, they you paint the company number on one kneepad.  On the other kneepad goes the squads 1-10 with a white/bone back ground and a second set 1-10 with a black background.  Maybe match that color with the top plate on the back pack and possibly the number as well, so that both you and your opponent can tell no matter which way the model is facing.

All of my primaris squads are in squads of 5, just so there was a different look to my primaris companies vs firstborn.

I tried sanding down a shoulder icon from Plokoone's Bits off shapeways but is hard due to the tiny size

Might try editing the decal file and see if I can make it 1 to 20 and look as good as the original file

Yeah I figured, which is why I was teasing you about it.
