So I'm running into an issue, somewhat, when it comes to building my ships for BFG. I'm trying to maximize my models, so I want to build what I think I would use. However, I won't be able to play a game for a bit even though I'm extremely interested and excited in the prospect of playing.

 

Here is what I own, or will own, as follows:

 

1x Desolator Class Battleship

1x Repulsive Grand Cruiser

1x Acheron Heavy Cruiser

1x Hades Class Heavy Cruiser

2x Devastation Class Cruiser

2x Murder/Carnage Class Cruiser

4x Infidel/Apostate Class Escorts

 

I have an extra cruiser body, and what I'm debating is: should I build a styx, a third non-heavy cruiser, or a second Acheron/Hades. I'm pretty stuck since I got lucky with finding a box of two chaos class cruisers from GW for a really, really good price, and I don't want to waste the model.

I'm a fan of the Styx and its ordnance. The two Devastation class cruisers are nice, but adding the Styx would help out a lot.

If you magnetized, though, you wouldn't be stuck with just one option.

I'm tempted to go with the styx. I don't have the money to practice magnetizing right now, and I'd like to have everything primed before winter so I can paint (-40 degrees F here sometimes) I'll have to actually build a points list to figure it out but I am leaning towards the styx.
