The Battalion deploys first turn out of Valkyries and claims objectives/juicy targets. The Patrol detachment deep strikes second turn and finishes off targets. I played against a similar list back in 6-7th ed, but the regular IG swarm + flyers. Had a bad time against double las strapped vendetta's out of the air show. (SM/ CSM mech list enjoyer). I don't have another Vendetta, but I think I'll drop the Officer of the Fleet and swap the other Vulture to Punisher Cannons. Im really curious about how just overwhelming air did. Game 1 against Space Wolves I tabled him in turn 4. Game 2 against Dark Eldar I got utterly annihilated. The DE seem to be really strong, havent played against em. I'm in a similar box with you on coming back after that long.
