I like it. Haven't played myself since the book dropped, so I don't know how much my opinion is worth, but I have been going through it extensively and making a lot of lists... so there's been a lot of thought into list-building.

I like the mix of Strikes/Terminators, Tactical Dreadnought armor is underrated amongst current Grey Knight analysis in my opinion. They don't do much more offensively, but the extra resilience is nice to have in a pinch. I don't know that the Ancient is really needed... The aura is OK but not great and you're getting into dangerous territory for Assassination. I also feel like you'd be getting more out of the DKs if they had both guns. Just realised the Ancient is your CP farmer. I think you could get away with cutting out the 5-man Interceptor unit. 20 should be enough in a non-Rapiers list, you can combat squad them and still have 4 units running around for objectives and Purfiying Ritual (if that's the route you want to go down), or Engage, etc. You'd then have the points for a psilencer and teleporter on each DK, and 60 points left over for 2 units of Servitors. These provide backline campers and prime units for Banners, which in my opinion is one of the best Secondary Objectives to take... just dropping two on Turn 1 and playing with their survival in mind nets you 10 victory points without even having to roll dice. Grey Knights especially are such an aggressive army that the fight will probably happen in the mid-board so generally the banners are safe (in my 8th edition experience anyways - and I was placing them with Strikes). Granted this is considering you own the models! But even as is the list seems solid, though I'd really like to see the psilencers on the DKs.

As for the Brotherhood, I think it is definitely a solid one. None of the explosive damage potential, denial or force multipliers from Rapiers, Wardmakers or Swordbearers (respectively) but a solid strat that is almost always useful and really cheap to boot, but the abiltiy to refund CP is solid as well. Whatever changes you end up making (or not making), I wish you good luck in the GT my friend, make Titan proud!

Thank you brother.

Unfortunately the dreadknights were old eBay purchases and did not come with the psilencers and have been unable to find any online. (Plan to custom make at some point) and I totally agree with you. I also totally agree with you regarding servitors as well. Unfortunately I am lacking model wise here though they are on my shopping list.

Yes I agree I think a terminators are understated. Personally my plan for them is to hopefully keep them in reserve until turn 3 then use them as a forward objective holder. By which point hopefully my opponent doesn't have the same amount of resources to deal with terminator armour effectively.

I agree the ancient is controversial but I figured as I am no Rapiers by having that lovely chap I can still gate across the board and get +1 attack on a unit any way. I agree assassination does become a risk but if I have lost all 4 characters I have probably lost the game any.

I really appreciate your insight and feedback. Thank for taking the time to message.

Managed to get a practice game in damn I am rusty. I think the list is solid and it's biggest weakness is me as a player atm. Though I think I will make a slight change. And that's swap the ancient for an apothecary. Then with the 5pts saved put a combi melta on the librarian.

I think that is a good point. This list has a lot to manage and you need to be ready to use it all or you'll lose. That being said, the list has a lot of potential and I hope that you'll post some kind of battle report on how you did. Plus, I'd love to hear how the brotherhood you chose works out for you.

Game one was against dark eldar and craftworlds eldar combo.

The dark eldar part had raiders, whychs, hellions truborn and a unit of mandrakes. As well as the insane succubus. The craftworld section had a farseer, shining spears, dark reapers a night spinner and support platform's.

This ment his craftworld eldar stuff ignored light cover and a lot of it ignored line of sight. However the good news for me was he had a farseer so no purge the witch.

This ended up being a very close game with an 85-83 win for the knights of titan. Highlights included a nemesis dreadknight rolling all but 1 of his 4++ against 3 dark Lance's 2 blasters and 2 units of dark reapers all while doomed.

Librarian deepstriking blowing up a raider with mind bullets. Leaving his succubus to get mowed down by stormbolters.

Draigo being charged by shinning spears only to survive on 1 wound and wipe them out. Then dieing the next turn to perils causing a 9point swing.

As for secondaries this is where I discovered purifying ritural is amazing and I think nearly a must take.

1st game and a win I was a happy boy especially as last time playing against any eldar was over 3years ago.

Game 2

Was against Imperial knights. 2 of the big ones with the crazy flamers and the rest armigers.

I made a big mistake this game worrying too much about abhour. Trying to minimise this I didn't combat squad my units. Ultimately this mistake lost me the game. It was a 6 objective map and crucially one where you can leave the objective and still hold it something I forgot about till turn 3. Another big mistake.

Turn 1 was mostly board position and a little spattering of dmg.

Turn 2 I managed to kill a big knight thanks to combined dmg and some nice charges. Unfortunately I failed 2 7" and a 6" charge on an armiger in the middle board. This left all my characters exposed and were subsequently wiped out.

It would be easy to blame the dice for this one but I think the main mistakes were mine not combat squading and not remembering the mission rules.

Game 3

Thousand sons.

He had a big brick of 10 terminators. Deamon princes, volkite contemptors. And plenty of rubric. Going in I was slightly apprehensive as have never played thousand sons.

True to form opponent went 1st. He came aggressive on the right flank teleporting his terminators and buffing them up the whazoo. Easily killing a dreadknight.

My turn baiting out denies in the psychic phase I got empiric amplification off and wiped them out.

With them dead I was able to roll over the rest of his army.

98-25 win. Looking back I could have got 100 but by this point it had been a long day of gaming.

Day 2

Game 4

Death guard with Morty and lots of terminators.

Suprise this game I got 1st turn (the 1st and only time in the tournament).

This allowed me to get a 5man interceptor unit in to a central ruin in a position where they couldn't be charged. On his turn he moved forward to the other central ruin.

Turn 2 this was potentially the game winning play. My 5man interceptors moved to the edge of his deployment zone wiped a unit of zombies who were spread out to deny deep strike then charged a plagueburst crawler that was the only thing holding his objective. Not only did this mean he didn't hold the objective he had to send units back to deal with this pesky unit but there was also a whole in his back line for any deepstrike or other shenanigans. He ended up moving 2units back but with deathguard slow speedy this allowed me to deal with part of his army. At a time with the majority of his terminators doing nothing all game. Another solid win for the knights of titan.

Game 5

With 3 wins I was very happy. for those that don't know the LGT is the biggest tournament in the UK and had nearly 700players this year.

Last game was against sisters of battle. And not only that but against Gareth from glasshammer gaming.

Surface to say I got my crap kicked in. Sisters seem to counter grey knights very well (I got of something like 5 psychic powers throught the whole 5 turns. And Gareth is definitely a better player than me (considering he plays people like Mani regularly).

Overall 3-2 is a positive ratio and climbing hi enough to play one of the guys from glasshammer was a big pat on the back.

The list did very well with interceptors probably being the star of the show. Damn they are good. Also the mortal wound librarian was super useful you don't need to spend the cp for the insane combo every turn bu having reliable mortal wounds where ever you want is great.

The terminators never ended up doing much some games they did well sitting on objectives and made the opponent kind of ignore them. Will need to see might be worth getting another strike unit and 5 more interceptors.
