Can you use Aegis ability (5+ FNP save) for Peril mortal wounds?  

 

I have been using Aegis for mortal wounds but don't know if that works for self inflicted mortal wounds from perils.

Yes, you can. Perils causes Mortal Wounds, Aegis saves Mortal Wounds, doesn’t matter how they were caused.
