Season of Fire - Firstborn Space Wolves PLOG

So, a while back, I came to a decision. My armies weren't distinct enough between Primaris Greymanes and Primaris/Firstborn mix Space Wolves. So I sold off the Primaris Wolves...to fund purchasing Firstborn!

Here's the first of my new Firstborn, a Rune Priest with Force Axe.

"The veteran must always remember his high place;
It mustn't be the lawless perch.
As he looks upon death with a smiling face,
Its honor he must never besmirch.

He shall be a wrecker of enemy halls.
His arrows will be deadly once loosed
Champions of the foe fall.
And their cities lie disused."
-Russ, Leman, Meditations, Book II

A squad of Long Fangs. Some new, some old from an Ebay lot.

I don't really understand the reason you sold the Primaris Wolves, but as I do love the Firstborn too, I'm looking forward to see more of them here!

P.S.: And the reason why I don't understand your reasons, is probably, that I still hardly know anything beyond the most obvious things about 9th Edition Codices … :D

It was mostly because I have a Space Wolves Ultima Founding Successor army in the form of the Greymanes.

As an update, I bought the following using the funds acquired:

-Sergeant Victorno from the Space Marine Heroes line. Gonna use this guy as a basis for a Wolf Lord.

-Space Wolves Pack. So that's 2x Grey Hunter Packs.

Looking very cool! Those Space Marine Heroes terminators are quite great little kits for adding some interest. I had a field day cutting some up and replacing torsos with Deathwing ones to make a couple of cool extra Deathwing Terminator squads. If you have extra front torso pieces, you can cut the one that the kit comes with off and replace it with an existing one with a little work.
