Eldar Unification

I open this topic to get your ideas of a possible lore where the eldars reunificate and found again an empire. I think some of the inital ideas shall be:

1. Ynnead finally is fully awaken.

2. Lidered by Biel-tan all Khaela Mensha Khaine fragments are merged reviving the eldar god of war.

3. The most powerfull Eldar Farseers join their forces to free Isha from nurgle garden.

4. Thus, the eldar pantheon of alive gods is comprised of Ynnead, Isha, Khaine and Cegorach.

5. Exodites are the basis of the new empire.

1. How will these unificated eldars be? How will they change?

Probably craftworld eldars would have stopped using spiritual stones since now in their dead they join Ynnead. This will also cause the end of most of the spectre warriors the asuryanni normally make us of.

Exodites will need to accept the use of more eldar technologies since now this eldar empire will be expose to attacks from other potencies as the human empire. Also, this worlds will be connected by portals of the webway and will receive many people from the craftwords and cegorach.

Dark eldar will need to stop doing slaneeshi things since they keep feeding the thirsty one. However, they could start using their psy powers again and regaing access to many forgotten technologies.

The asuryanni paths might dissapear or at least some of them, as this hard type of life shall not be neccesary anymore (maybe farseer and warrior paths survive). The craftworld will travel between the exodite worlds.

2. How will their goverment be?

An option is a monarchy with Yvraine as the eldar emperor (emperor chosen by Ynnead). However, I tend to think more is something as a multiorganic system with a unificated farseer council (leadered by Eldrad), some sort of senate where the leaders of the different exodite worlds, the representative of the comorragh kabals, the representative of the goverment of the different craftworlds (mostly princes and noble since the farseers are now unificated), and a rotatory representative of the arlequinns sit.

When the emperor dies the "senate" should elect a new candidate for emperor that must probes worth it to the eldar gods (to Ynnead as new leader of the god pantheon).

Anyway, there would be lot of intrigues in the goverment.

I think the capital should be comorragh since is lost in the webway and since, it not exposed to attacks from other races. Also, since is in the webway most exodite worlds with a portal would be connected to it.

The warrior temples would survive. However, they will be much more elite since the warrior path would be followed by less eldars. The fenix lords, as heads of their aspect warrior temples, should also have a place in the goverment of the aeldari empire. Something as a unificated young prince court.

3. Where will it be?

The core of the last eldar empire was in the eye of terror, but I dunnot have a clue where are most of the exodite worlds. I don't remember where I read they were to the outside of the galaxy and in the north of empirium nihilus (which to me makes sense). I have found this map pre-gathering storm that may help seeing the position of the craftworlds and the exodite worlds: https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Craftworld?file=Eldar_planets.jpg (they are the farthest away that is possible to the eye of terror)

Maybe the eldar empire is not as the tau or human empire in the sense that, since they are joined through the webway the worlds don't need to be nearby, concentrated in an area.

4. It is possible for the Drukhari to reduce a little bit their weirdo?

idk. But maybe if a huge amount of people in comorragh moves to exodites world it would help.

5. How powerfull will be this unificated eldar imperium?

In my ranking it would be like this: Great devourer > Human empire > Unificated fully awaken necrons > Chaos forces >  Unificated Eldar empire > Tau empire

6. Chances of this to happen in the lore?

Really low, however, Yvraine and gathering storm was a step towards an eldar unification.

I think the whole point of the ynaari was to bring all the eldar factions into one book, but it’s been a while since any real development, so I think they’ve pushed it back until next edition or later. Otherwise, what was the point of the ynaari if not to bring the 3-5 eldar factions under one flag?

Hi @venyak, welcome to the Bolter and Chainsword :D

I think in order to better answer your questions, it would be helpful to understand your goal: is this for a short thought experiment? Are you thinking of starting an army that could fit this lore? Are you thinking of writing fan-fiction exploring what would happen to the 40k universe should any of this happen?

I agree with your last remark that all of this is unlikely to happen in official lore, at least in the short term.

Yeah, I think that was the initial idea. However, they might have changed their plans after the reaction to the end of the times.

Hello. Thank you very much for the welcome.

My idea is to set a short thought experiment, and then, if possible, writting a little fan-fiction regarding this possibility. Ofc, creating and army that could fit this lore would be interesting as well.

One of the things that make the 40k universe so interesting is the grimm and the about is it to be consumed to its ashes but there is still a little hope. For instance, Chaos broke Cadia, the galaxy is ripped in two, chaos is everywhere but still there is a tiny bit of hope since Guilliman is back... The possibility of reunificating the eldar is too shiny for this lore and so, it would not happen.

To make an army we could consider:

- Removing asuryanni spectral technologies (this is painfull, since most eldar titans use them). At least spectre warriors since there might be a justification for conserving the spiritual stones of remarkable warriors but not to not letting many eldars rest in peace and join Ynnead to be reborn again.

- Removing homonculae and homonculae related units. Maybe you think it can be accepted somehow in the reforged empire, but I am not sure how.

- Lot more pyquics (drukhari do not need to hide anymore)

- New psyquic based technology arsennal (not sure how this could be represented in and army)

- Reduced number of guardians (there is a proffesional army comprised of the aspec warriors, incubii, witches, kabalites)

- Extreme mobility

Dark Eldar seem too far gone to be re-habilitated into Eldar society. I don't see how that is going to work.

Yeah, that might be a point. I don't now if all drukharis has gone so far yet (most ynarri came from commoragh after all). The incubi and the witches cults could be assimilated (they haven't gone farther than many warrior temples and they worship Khaine after all). The kabals are not very different than noble houses of many craftworlds or clans of saim-hann. Probably, these kabals will spread their organization through the reforged aeldari empire to stablish in many of the worlds pursuing their interests. The only thing I am really concerned about the darlk eldar society are homonculae

Alternatively, it could be Craftworld society that is too far gone to be rehabilitated ^^

hahahaha, yep, and nobody things in the crazy exodites labouring the land by themselves.... crazy

Another question: How do you think that the esthetics of aeldari assets will evolve?
