I did manage to finish the Ethereal in like a week, just didn't get any pictures. Also the envoys I built I wasn't too happy with as there are other 3rd party models out there that look 10x better for the job. I'll try and remember to post a pict of the ethereal, just between work and this campaign I'm in I just keep forgetting/have no time. I had a little bit of fun with another idea for the "What if" challenge and thought I share. :p What if Khârn the Betrayer found a new hobby? And discovered his love for skydiving? I am pretty sure, THIS is what would happen. :p And with this, I finally found a way of making one of these static and awkward Primaris Inceptors actually look like a dynamic assault monster. Bonus. (honestly, most of the Primaris models bore me to death and I see a lot of potential for improvement in most of them) I hope you all have a great weekend! I've got a hard date of April 9th on this so it should be good to go though it'll probably be another Stubborn entry. I just need to make sure I get everything done for that list before then as well. It's a really nice model to paint, and the more I look at it the more I like the pose, the shapes, the way the knife and the pipe frame the central figure, all that sort of thing. But your painting really brings out the most of it. The weathering really does look good. And you are right. Painting helps me a lot when anxious or stressed out. I need to improve on several things, but I think for this I need to watch a few more instruction videos (for example how one does glass bottles and vials). Otherwise, not too bad. I therefore declare my March vow completed. I am now planning on working on some more of my character models for my army. And also I want to do my Heldrake for the Anger and Arrogance challenge. Lucky I took this pic! I tried to keep it balanced by only having the one figure with the Astartes stat line and added bonuses from Celestine.
