So I've slowly been working on a custom chapter for myself. Not the first time, i've done it...but this one I've put some very particular care into. Once I get all my ideas pieced and sorted, I'll throw it up on the Liber Astartes page. Anyway...lets talk about themes first: The two primary inspirations for this chapter is Robert E. Howard's, Hyborean Age, and the 80's Cartoon, The Thundercats. I have a few WIPs of stuff I'm working on, but I've really only completed one model...which is the Chapter Master. Based off of the new Emperor's Champion...I just couldn't resist...I've put every skill I had into this one....pushed myself in painting and even experimented with LED's for the first time: http://bolterandchainsword.com//public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.png

Excellent work on the models! I especially like the helmet of the model below, reminds me of the final battle that Conan fought on top of the hill against Thulsa Doom's top captains.

 

The Lion-O models is really well done. The led, the sword, the clawed powerfist, all great stuff.

Bro Carp: It was a Green Stuff World, texture plate...just spread the GS on there super thin...let it dry, peel it, cut to shape.

Naryn: why yes it is...didn't really plan to use it that way....but had some pretwisted wire I was using for cloak string, and I said, "hmmmmm?"
