While taking about Daemon engines what about the Bloat Drone?

Many of us will have the plague spewer versions as they came with the original box set as well as the other weapon options

Fast. Tough.

What are people's views? There are some strategies specific to the bloat Drone, I believe -ive not actually used the strat yet. What are people thoughts on them?

I love them. They look amazing. In 8th the spitters were the best, now it's probably the blades. Having 10" move and fly is something our codex does not have alot of. I've never seen the launcher used in great success. I've cleared alot of back field objectives of T3 troops (skitarii, Eldar, dark Eldar, nids, sisters, guard) with the spitters and won games with them. The blades got buffed good. 12 S7 (-1T) 2D attacks on a flyer is sweet.

You can even charge the spitter ones into stuff after for some probe attacks. I like to use the strat to auto pop them if it will finish a unit off. I also like that they pop on a 4+ anyways and don't hurt any nurgle units.

Though only having weird m10 as a fly unit, FBD is already the fastest unit in our common arsenal, and the only unit which can reliably reach a sideway objective on some maps.

Currently most lists use mower, their heroic intervention is brutal. If future points change hit it, players may turn to launchers.

I love both the look of the Drone and the improvements to its arsenal of weapons.  The fleshmower is hard to resist, but the other weapons can be very useful as well.  The Heavy Blight Launcher slaughters marines and the dual flamers are excellent anti-horde and overwatch threats.  Being able to both Fly and be equipped with Assault weapons makes them a key unit for pushing up the field and forcing your opponents to deal with them, while your army slowly makes its way into the mid-board.

I only own 1 fleshmower, and its never made it into combat due to the amount of attention (fear) it gets from my opponents.

Rumor mill is saying the fleshmower is about to see a disturbing price hike.  I really hope that is untrue as its one of our few units that feels priced appropriately.
