What base for ezekiel?

Im going to a tournament soon and i im polishing up and old librarian model from Dark vengeance set to use as ezekiel. Should he remain on the 25 mm base he came on or can i move him to a 32 mm base so he fits better with the rest?

Best to check with the TO, but the current ,metal/resin Ezekial is supplied on a 25mm base.

The current Ezekiel is still the same metal one and is on a 25 mm base. You'll have to check with your organizer on moving up to a 32, but I would expect 25 unless given permission otherwise.

Thanks guys. Odd that 32 is not standard since afaik all the firstbourne now are on 32 mm :/. Ill cross my fingers on 32 then since i already made the base :|

It's standard for some, but those miniatures are cast for a slotted base, so they don't always change the base that comes with it. Those miniatures are designed for a 25mm base, and you'd have to cut the tab off and do pinning and all to get it to work right on a 32mm one, so they just didn't change it.

GW don't have a 32mm slotted base.

 

And you don't know how big the base size will be when Azreal and Ezekiel finally receive their new models.

It's funky. Overall, GW has moved almost all Power armored astartes onto at least 32mm. Ezekiel, Azzy, and Asmodai are a few that they haven't. Like it's weird as in addition to that all new astartes models that are character models since 8th ed started have been put onto at least 40mm, but very few older ones have been switched to the 40mm. For instance Khârn the Betrayer now comes on 40mm when before 8th ed it didn't.

 

To be honest, if you put him on a 32mm base you should have no worries due to GW having switched out the vast majority of Astartes models in power armor to being at least on 32mm, some tourneys require them to be put on at least 32mm (or at least did,) some big tourneys have a list showing what bases are ok for which models (like all that come on 25mm still can be on either 25 or 32.)

 

If you were wanting to put him on a 40mm base I'd first ask the TO about that, but there shouldn't be any issue with putting him on 32mm, but you can always ask the TO abaout that, too.

I still have a few terminators on 25mm bases...
