++Space Wolves Unit Recommendations++

Someone on a Facebook Space Wolves group was asking for "starting from scratch" creating an army recommendations, so I put the following document together for them.  Figured I'd bring it into The Fang for anyone that might find it helpful here, and also for discussion, to refine the document, if needed.

Please note that I understand that the Wolves aren't at the top of the meta right now, so hyper-competitive players won't get much value here - this isn't for those folks.  This is more for the casual "beer and pretzels" type of player, that wants to get together with his or her mates and have a chance at the win because we're helping them find the more efficient and effective units that the Space Wolves have available to select from right now.

As I said above, I welcome your feedback and discussion.

I miss a chaptermaster on bike (my favorite) with hunter, armour of russ and thunderhammer.

I'm really hoping for future Primaris units with added mobility options.  The Primaris Chaplain on Bike was a godsend, and is arguably one of the best Space Marine units in the whole codex.  We need more characters and unit options like that, for sure.

But why not a firstborn captain on bike? He’s tougher, more wounds, faster and has some boltguns compared to the jumppack version. And is cheaper! What am i missing?

Nothing really, but at least there is the Jump Pack version of the Wolf Lord/Captain.  The Primaris Wolf Lord has no good option like this.  Additionally, they're not making new Firstborn models - there is no point.  Primaris is the future of the Space Marine line, so that's where the focus of adding new units should be.

In game play, Firstborn units are still doing just fine, especially when they all got the 2nd Wound (+) in 9e.  However, model-wise, the more appropriately scaled new Primaris units are definitely where the focus is.
