Hey I was browsing around the site and noticed that some of the other army sections have a place to post their armies.

How about we have one for us Space wolves? Just post a picture or a link to a picture of your army and a short description if you want.

I know that seeing other peoples work really helps motivate me. It will also be a place to show off and get a few replies about your work.

Whadda you think guys?

Had a request (sort of) wanting to see my HQ and Wolf Guards. For now I have took a photo of one of my Wolf Guard Battle Leaders. Stole the idea elsewhere about using the legs from the EC.

First of all, I worship Balloon Dog for the wolves he made... Sweet Russ, those are some awesome models...

I don´t have a digital camera so I had to scan him, so you can´t see the large wolfpelt on his back. (it was a pain in the to make it)

He´s a head taller and ana arm wider(spelling?) then a regular terminator is.

Lucian, your Grimnar is most excellent. No mere mortal should have such wicked-awesome modelling skills. Though, he does seem a little big for his base. Ever consider getting one of those big ol' round bases that are included with special characters like the original GW Grimmy?

And on a different note, I made a different, better Wolf Lord.


And the old Wolf Lord that I have posted in my previous post is gonna be converted to a new Rune Priest. Got rid of the Talon of Horus and plan on replacing it with a Thunder Hammer. On his left hand, I'm gonna give him a Storm Shield.

Mutt: Don´t worry it was an evil clone I cut up

I have one painted, and the one I cut up was badly moulded from GW, many of the figures I cut up are bad moulded.
I worked in a local hobbystore some years ago and I got the figures that people did a RMA on because GW told us to discard them

Wow! Some really high quality models here!

Here are my Wolves. That's only part of what I have. I also have about 20 wolf guard terminators lying around, the old metal long fangs, a rhino and I still have to paint a Whirlwind and a Vindicator.

I'm planning a full Great Company so I still have a long way to go before I am satisfied with my army.

I'll take advantage of this post to send a plea for help. I already asked Commander Y for hints on this and the help he gave was great but I'd like to have some visual help if anyone can supply it. What's the best way to highlight power armour with space wolves colours? What areas should be highlighted? What is the best technique?
I'm not trying to paint an army of golden deamon winners but have them above table top quality would be nice. Thanks for... any... help.

Finally got some decent pics with my digital camera of my first few painted figures. Some are still needing detail work, but one pack of Claws are finished and based.

The shoulder insignias are freehand. I never seem to get transfers to work.
