Ok, turn 1, Weedy Gits.

He starts the movement phase with the Vindicator rolling down the "main street" in the "village" to send a shell towards my Storm Claws and Fenrisian Wolves, the Scouts then takes cover behind a hedge at the back and the Land Speeders who zooms forward to get into range. Both the Tactical and Devastator Squads moves out of the way for the Bikes and takes up firing positions behind some barricades.

The Vindicator opens up the hostilities, sending a gigantic plasma shell towards the closest Wolves, but it scatteres 6" nackwards and blows a small shed to pieces (ok, it didn

Get cracking!

I want to read more!

That list is pretty similar to my normal 13th list but I drop some Grey Slayers for extra 4 more wolves in each pack.

From what I can visualise from the terrain set up, it seems that the board had some pretty clear(and big!) firing lanes. That is usually pretty bad news. With the amount of Heavy Bolters in his army, your wolves would be in some serious trouble I'm guessing.

Anyway! MORE MORE!!

Turn 2, Weedy Gits.

The Callidus Assassin, always in Reserve, arrives this turn and he places her just outside the ruins my Long Fangs are in...

Other than that, he stands still to try tothin my Packs, the Vindicator tries to Tank Shock the larger Fenrisian Wolf pack though, but they pass the Moral test, just moving out of the way.

All of the Fenrisian Wolves remaining in the depleted Pack are gunned down, but it takes all the fire from the Bikes, as I was outside 12"!

The thing that worried me the most - his plasma cannon, targets the Rune Priest and Gated Grey Slayers but actually overheats (he made the save though), thank Russ! The Land Speeders and Inquisitor Lord also shots at them, killing two more and the Scouts gives five wounds of which I make one... (4* 2s...) Lucky me, they

Weedy Gits, turn 4.

It starts to look grim for him... But he fights on!

The only shooting is from the Devastators and Land Speeder who kills two Grey Slayers from the larger Pack who just killed the Scouts.

In the assault the Inquisitor is finally ripped to pieces, together with his Henchmen (he got 4 or so, power fist wounds... Good, as I absolutely hate those prying-about Inquisitors! -_- ), the Wolf Guard Pack Leader consolidates towards the Biker combat.

The Wolf Lord and Storm Claws rips the last Bikers and his Chaplain to shreds as well, then consolidates into the remaining Devastator Squad behind.

13th Co. turn 4.

Just some mopping up... The Long Fangs and remaining Grey Slayers shoots the Vindicator, getting enough hits to disable it through loads of Weapon Destroyed and Immobilized, they they actually never roll 4 or more even though they must have penetrated it 3 or 4 times!

The Storm Claws and Wolf Lord rips apart the last Tacticals for no loss and during the rest of the game I try to chase down the last Speeder, I manage to destroy the heavy bolter and shake it two or three times but don

Nicely played Duregar, nice to see that you can have a game, WITHOUT Grey Knights, however, it seems the Inquisition forces were sadly more of a waste.

Not much to say really, you played it quite well, and had a good balance of good luck and bad.

I look forward to your next reports -_-

My Fleet rolls for the Wolves come up as a 2 and a 3, none of the Packs are within charge range with his infantry (the undamaged Pack could charge the Vindicator, but I saw no gain in doing so) that ends the turn for me, not bad at all!

Hey, just a heads up, you have to charge with your wolves if anything is in charge range, as per the EOT codex.

Ciao,
