Hello all! Pleasure to be back guys!! Whoazers feels like years!

Well I've been sidetracked on my projects by school (Getting more difficult). After a 1-2 months absence, due to the B&C Going down, and me painting LOTR and Fantasy, I am back to 40k, yip yip!

Anyways Here is my current model Erithmelius, Chaplain of my BR Army and maybe my 40k single entry to GD Canada.

As you can see the red is somewhat a brighter red than my previous Blood Ravens, but i can assure you all its pretty much the same colour as my Blood Ravens. Also this is somewhat a new style for me.

How my chaplain got his name (Thanks Kraegus! ^_^):

Coolio! think i may have commented on this before over at greydeath's WIP forums

but i'm unsure, however its a cool piece nice crisp colours, i especially like the marble

effect you've achieved on the crozaius & the bonemold effect of the helmet, i like it!

Nicely done.

A very well painted and detailed model.

And I look forward to seeing it in person at games day canada as I will fly out of California and be there.

So I hope to see this figure and perhaps meet up with some of you Canadian types why I have the chance... ^_^

And you can meet a real life California person... :)

Ok thats scarey maybe you dont want to..

But loking good and cant wait to go and see all of your figures in person.

Keep up the great work.

Please tell us the recipe for the bone! I must know, I've been trying to find a good recipe for my bone scheme, but it turned out bad so i did a mini in Khaki.

BTW: how many of those neophyte trophies do you have?

edit: Woot! post 666!(again)

OK ok! Wow Wow that was quick for the recicpes yikes.

Red:

Basecoat- hull red

Main Colour- Cadium umber red

Re-apply over all surfaces of the red with scab red leaving the crevices black. (this gets the brown red colour)

Blend Blood red for multiple layers (I forgot to keep count but there was a range of 10-15 layers or so forth)

Glaze twice with Red ink

Bone (Skull): Scorched Brown, Graveyard Earth, Kommando Khaki, Bleached Bone (Blended from one colour to the other)

Bone (Bone details):

Beastial Brown

Chest nut ink wash

Beastial brown

Snakebite leather

Bronzed Flesh

Dwarf Flesh

Elf Flesh

Bleached Bone

Bone (Chest eagle)

Codex/Kommando Khaki (50-50)

Kommando khaki

Kommando khaki blending in white for successive highlights (Again forgot to keep count ugh)

Anyways I think I covered what you guys asked for...

thanks for that, i think it should help greatly, the difference of that from mine was that you used scorched brown and highlighted to BB instead of skull white like i did, interesting, I'll give it a go on my next marine.

I was wondering, did you convert anything on this guy or did he come like that?

By the way, thanks for the inspiration.
