John Thompson Posted April 6, 2006 Share Posted April 6, 2006 I like the way wou've kept the overall models nice and dark. All the tubes in a single colour works very well too IMO! But not too keen on the backpacks, they look a bit too sloppy and lack defenition and details.. But aren't the wings on EC shoulderpads supposed to be purple?? Basecoat of Liche Purple with the slightest amount of Scab red in it. Mixture of Scab Purple (the mixture color I made) mixted with Warlock Purple. Coat of Warlock Purple. 1:1 Mixture of Warlock Purple and Tentecle Pink. 1:2 Mixture of Warlock Purple and Tentecle Pink. Very simple might I add. xD Also, I am going to be redoing the metals so that they have more depth for them, but I can't right now. I have to start painting my AHG for GT at Baltimore. Alpha PTP Posted April 7, 2006 Author Share Posted April 7, 2006 After taking a break from Dance Dance Revolution and painting, I think I have found out what I am going to do about the damn metalics. xD -Basecoat over the current metals with Black -Coat of boltgun metal -Blackline between all of the 'vents' and such -Highlight of chainmail and boltgun mix (1:1) -Wet blend area's if needed -Highlight of Chainmail -Watered down black ink with glaze medium near all of the blacklined 'vents' I think that will work, any complaints or advice?
