This is the first squad I have finished, the second is half done at the moment but I am having a hard time motivating myself to paint.

Throat: Nice to see your models up here.

Lord Crucis look great & good seem him painted as last time he was still in plastic, also it a nice conversion.

So are these some of the models you will be taken to the UK Grand Tournament in October????

The Lascannon Marine fit the Night Lords theme very well.

Thanks for the comments guys.

The models were inked, but I used a Satin varnish, as I wanted the armour to look Hard, (Matt Varnish tends to make things look soft like fabric).

Its also because I am basing the fluff for these guys on a planet were rain and storms are the norm and the shine helps the models look as though water is running over them.

IP yep these are the guys I am hoping to take to the GT, just had a fortnight off work and only half finished a squad heyho.

I would cement the rain idea a little more. You may have a purpose for it but to your average person it would look like a mistake unless you press that reason home. Maybe add a couple puddles on the ground, paint the ground lighter underneath things (sheltered from rain) etc.
