Okay,

Hi! , I have never posted online before images of my work , but 2 other times. The images I am posting are my first attempts at painting black armour. The first attempt is the DeathWatch figure...minus arm. He is from Space Wolves chapter. I did only hard highlights around edges and what not, I like how it looked but something I felt was missing...The DeathCompany figure I tried doing highlights with sharp lines , but it didnt turn out to well doing dark to light...i couldnt clean up the final highlights too well. So next time around I am going to go light to dark and hope that makes cleaning the highlights easier...Ive alson included links to my storm trooper I painted...just because I can  Any pointers would be great, I need to learn so much more and slow down more, after seeing these images Ive found alot of things with the models that I want to correct on the next one...thankfully these are only basic troopers and not anything that great as my chaplain!!!

C&C Welcome!!!

Thank you for the compliments!! wasnt expecting them!!! : Suprised look :

I could have done the eagle crest alot cleaner, as well as gone through and done the highlights a bit more realistic...those are things I Am going to focus on for the next round of figures...I was talking about the deathcompany.

So you kinda superglued your thumb to that Deathwatch, huh? :P

Seriously though, nothing wrong with those models: clean, nice colors, every bit of color is where it is supposed to be, GREAT lenses.

IMHO the carapace on the stormtrooper needs some more highlighting, but that's about it, really. Oh, and drill those bolters ;) .

Yeah I want to drill them only problem is I dont have any tools to do it...need to get some of the proper tools...and thank you once again for the c&c...I know the trooper needs more highlights, but I kinda wanted to do somewhat old skool uber bright 2nd edition style.

I think it is a great looking marine, but you should add some yellow or red into the SW shoulder pad. These guys are proud of thier colours so you should put that into it.
