FaeLi-N
The legs are done, the wrist mounted bolter, and power-blade are done...and don't get me wrong, I love them, but I wanted to know what other people thought of the bits I'm willing to show so far. The head is mounted on a blank chest (I'm still adding the finishing touches to the new torso for the models... http://www.goldendragon.nildram.co.uk/thousandson.gif And the blade: http://www.goldendragon.nildram.co.uk/blade.gif Hope you like them, I hope to have the first model pained up by next week (it WILL be an army, not decided whether using chaos sm or sm rules yet.) major buzzmore
Well from what I can see the torso & Helmet look pretty cool, and look very 'pre-heresy'. I really live that weapon, im gonna steal that idea for my pre-heresy Magnus the Red. Cant wait to see more
Exquisite Evil
WOW...! From what I can see(anychance on bigger pics of the head?) - better than mine! Love the stylised CCW... Is it truescale by the way? On rules - Id use SM rules and limit yourself on certain post heresy equiptment/wargear etc... and use alot of Librarians... No need for traits

FaeLi-N
Ahhh no way! You've come out of hiding!! Aye, busy no doubt, thesis due on friday...this is what I whipped up in my spare time ;) @ExquisiteEvil: your model definately geared me up to doing somethign I'd wanted to for a long time, so firstly thanks for that... I hope to have bigger (and better pics) soon, but atm, the lighting I have is a bit too harsh, and the metallics look very strange, plus I need to cast it in milliput so I can grind out hard edges. I didn't plan to make it truescale...but the thing is that the head is ever so slightly smaller than a current marine helm, so I just need to thin the torso down a bit, and it's going in the wrong direction, but it will look properly proportioned... I'll have the torso and legs for display tomorrow, I'm just fine-detailing the scarabs and stuff on them.
