1) I really cant see with the pictures you have their. Even the ones in the link are too bad to see clearly.

 

2) Found 1 clear pic. Now I can see its a warboss vs a commander.

 

 

Ok, firstly, it really isn't a diorama. Its just 2 models plonked on a big base. If you can still change it try having the commander pointing his sword at the warboss, and bring back the warbosses arm like it is going to take swipe at the commander.

 

And the painting is really REALLY messy. The pain doesn't properly cover the model.It is often overlapping badly. Try repainting it, but take more time and care on it. Just get Solid blosk colours onto the whole model, and it will look so much better. Then, basic ink wases and highlighting it will bring it out.

The paint needs to be improved, more solid coats will do wonders.

 

Try and make the models more dynamic, like jack said.

Start by basing a model in one color, then paint the colors you intend to paint on top of it. Also, try to cover the entire model with paint, seeing the metal of the model shine through in various places, really makes is questionable about if the model can be called painted.

 

It seems you have some marines that are trying to pacify Ghazzkull. You need to work on it a bit, explain your idea behind it etc, not just post a pic of a few models standing around and calling it a diorama.
